CoreInto administrator guide
Run a hosting company on CoreInto: installation, settings, staff, email, clients, catalogue, orders, billing, gateways, services, domains, support, affiliates, reports, licensing, import, backups, languages and automation.

Getting started
CoreInto is a set of PHP files and one MySQL or MariaDB database. You upload the files to a hosting account, create an empty database, open the web installer in a browser, and add one cron job.
Read the guideSettings
Nearly everything about how CoreInto behaves is a setting in the database, changed from the admin area. This chapter covers the three pages drawn from the settings list: Settings > General Settings (twelve tabs), Settings > Automation Settings (ten tabs) and Settings > Tax Configuration.
Read the guideStaff and security
Staff sign in to the admin area with their own account. What each account may do comes from its role.
Read the guideEmail
CoreInto sends every email it needs, from the welcome message to the overdue notices and the staff notices, from a set of templates.
Read the guideClients
A client is an account that is billed: it has a name and address, a currency, services, domains, invoices and tickets. A user is a person who signs in with an email address and a password. One account can have several users, and one user can work in several accounts.
Read the guideCatalogue: currencies, products, options, add-ons, bundles, promotions and domain pricing
The catalogue is everything you sell and the prices you sell it at.
Read the guideOrders: the store, the cart, checkout and the order pages
An order is what a client buys in one go: products with their options and add-ons, domains to register or transfer, or both. Clients place orders in the store; staff place them under Orders > Add New Order.
Read the guideBilling: invoices, payments, credit, quotes and notes
Billing is where money is recorded. Every charge is a line on an invoice; every payment, refund and deposit is a transaction; every client has a credit balance in their own currency.
Read the guidePayment gateways
A payment gateway is a way for a client to pay an invoice.
Read the guideServices and servers
A service is one product a client has bought: a hosting account, a reseller account, a server, a licence, or anything else you sell by subscription.
Read the guideDomains and registrars
CoreInto sells domain registrations, transfers and renewals, and keeps each domain's dates, status and nameservers. A registrar module does the work at the registrar: ResellerClub, Namecheap, Spaceship, Porkbun and Dynadot.
Read the guideSupport
CoreInto's support area takes tickets from clients, from visitors who are not signed in, from staff and from email, and gives staff one place to answer them.
Read the guideAffiliates
The affiliate programme pays your clients for bringing you business. A client joins, gets a personal link, and shares it.
Read the guideReports and utilities
The Reports menu holds 23 reports and a batch invoice PDF. Every report is a table with filters, shown on the page and exported as CSV, and a role decides which reports its staff may open.
Read the guideLicensing Manager
The Licensing Manager sells software by subscription. A product that uses it gives every service a licence key instead of an account on a server.
Read the guideImporting from a WHMCS database
CoreInto can copy the records of an existing WHMCS installation (version 7.10 to 8.x) straight from its database: clients and their users, products and prices, orders, services, domains, invoices, payments, credit, quotes, tickets, the knowledgebase, downloads, affiliates and, if you want, the histo.
Read the guideBackups and updates
CoreInto backs up its own database every day and can update itself from the licence server. Settings > Database Backups makes, lists, downloads and deletes backups; the automation task backup makes one a day and removes old ones.
Read the guideLanguages
CoreInto's pages are written in English, and every text they show can be translated. A language is one file: CoreInto's own languages are in app/lang, yours go in storage/lang. CoreInto comes with Urdu; you can add any other language by filling in a template.
Read the guideAutomation
CoreInto's recurring work (renewal invoices, reminders, late fees, suspensions, domain syncing, ticket rules, email sending, backups) is done by automation tasks that cron.php runs from a cron job on your hosting account.
Read the guideCoreInto licence
Every CoreInto site runs with a CoreInto licence key (CI- and four groups of five letters and digits), bought from the CoreInto licence server, https://system.coreinto.com. The key is entered when installing, on Utilities > CoreInto Licence, or with php cli.php licence-set KEY.

Frequently asked questions
Who is the CoreInto Administrator guide for?
Run a hosting company on CoreInto: installation, settings, staff, email, clients, catalogue, orders, billing, gateways, services, domains, support, affiliates, reports, licensing, import, backups, languages and automation. Each article lists the exact menu path in the panel and the steps to follow.
Can I ask a question instead of reading?
Yes. The Help button at the bottom right of every page on this site searches this documentation and answers from the guide you pick: administrators, clients and developers each get the articles written for what they do.
